Why is it free?
Tripshare doesn’t make money yet. I’m building it because I need it. No card, no trial, no paid tier hiding behind a button.
Which confirmations work?
Hotel, flight, and rental car confirmations, as an email, PDF, or screenshot. Booked direct, through a card portal, or through a travel site. Every forward gets a reply telling you what we found, including when we couldn’t read it.
Does it work for award bookings?
Yes. Points or cash, a confirmation is a confirmation. We don’t track balances or judge the redemption.
When does the reminder come?
About 48 hours before free cancellation ends, by email, and by push if you have the app. It covers hotels, flights, and rental cars.
What if you read the deadline wrong, or there isn’t one?
The reply you get after forwarding shows the deadline we found, or says we didn’t find one, so you can check it against your booking. If they differ, your booking’s own deadline is the one that counts.
Do the people I travel with need an account?
They open your trip’s private link. To add their own flights, stays, and plans, they sign in with a code we email them. No password.
Does anyone read my emails?
Software does, not people. An AI model pulls out the booking details. Staff only look at an email if it fails to import, to fix the problem. The email text is deleted 30 days after your trip ends, and it is never sold or used to train AI. Details in our privacy policy.
Who can see my bookings?
Only you, until you share your trip’s private link. Nothing is public, and we never book or cancel anything for you.
